Weird grungy sound from I guess tires?
So it started less than a month ago. It sounds like what I believe super swampers would sound like INside a vehicle. Its not very loud, however I can totally feel it on my feet on the floor board. You can first feel/hear it at about 30. Its there all the time and doesnt speed up or slow down, its the same consistency through all speeds maybe just a bit louder at higher speeds. I thought maybe an alignment problem, but what would cause it to happen out of nowhere, maybe a suspension component needs to be changed? I'm on bags and at any height its the same. I thought maybe a bearing issue, but I just changed it a couple of months ago. I dont have any wobble or anything. The sound doesnt change when turning right or left. Bearing, tie rod, lbj and caster arms all changed within last 20k miles.
stumped
Oh yea and I dont see any abnormal wear on the tire either.

I'm thinking tire pressure as well. Or maybe its just road noise from the tire itself after tire was broken inn??? Or maybe next time you drive it, check both front driver and pass tire wells...... See if one side is hotter than the other. if so, maybe one of the calipers is still ever so slightly engaged which is causing the "waaaa" noise. Idk, I'm just trying to think out of the box here since you basicly changed everything recently.

Hmm, the brake thing sounds interesting, no noticeable performance issues, but I'll definitely look into that. Tire pressures were just checked and topped off a couple days before this post and no change. The breaking in idea seams like a good thought and being that these tires are fairly new I'd think maybe, but remember its not just noise I totally feel it on my feet as if the tire is spinning on my foot, I dont think tires are suppose to do that right? These are some real good Michelin tires, I would think they'd be good and quiet.
This is driving me nuts! I need to take a trip out of town in a few weeks, but dont want to risk it possibly being an alignment issue and destroying a practically new tire or something else catastrophic and it leave me out in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming and I'll check em one by one

Hey, this was happening to me a few months ago. My uncle is a mechanic for 35 years so i told him about it, he said it was because one of my rotors had more ware then the other one. Spesifically my rear drivers side. He replaced it and bam! No more wooo, noises and smooth braking! See if near the edge of one of the rotors if theres a thick line. Hope this helps.
