Need advice from someone who's had their bumper repainted
So I was in a bit of a fender bender the other day, my front bumper has some light scuffing on it, but it's been somewhat beat up for a long time, paint is rough from years of rocks and such. I saw sewell has new oem bumpers painted to your color, since my front bumper is really the only area showing any kind of wear on my car (aside from some minor stone chips on hood) Im really thinking of ordering, could make my car look ALOT newer, however I'm concerned maybe the paint would look different or look weird since itd be brand new and the rest of my paint wouldn't. Anyone had just their bumper repainted or ordered one from Sewell? How did it match? I can't really afford an entire paint job for the whole car, so I'd appreciate the advice and or pics if you have them. My car is the alpine silver metallic btw
Thanks
Thanks

If the issues are only cosmetic, any good body shop will be able to paint match the bumper to your car's color. However, if there are dents/gouges/etc, I'd just buy a good condition used bumper and then have the body shop paint that instead.

I've had my front and rear bumper painted within a year and a half.
You can see the difference in color but you can't really notice it if you don't know it's been just painted.
I don't know how much your paint has faded over the years but mine ('00 430) was in quite good condition overall so that helps it too.

^ 2000 430?????
OP, take it to a body shop and have them repaint it. You should be able to save more money that way. I once had my front and rear bumpers repainted. The rear was from a minor accident and the front was because of heavy rock chips. He matched it perfectly. He blended the front bumper paint to the fenders so you can't even tell it has been repainted even if you look closely. These cars are great, but Lexus really jipped us on the paint quality.
