FL Window Testing
Ok so my window went out. I've only owned this car for barely 2 months so I know it was going to need some TLC. I've been scouring this forum and the fantastic sticky listing multiple threads for DIY.
I just want to confirm something and see if there is some trick I don't know about the front windows. My left started going out and I said "oh crap, time to stop rolling it down". Raised it home, and vowed never to lower it until I made sure it was fully functional.
One night I was crouching to check my brakes and my keys bunched up and activated the windows. Sooo everything went down except for the driver side. AFAIK the remote bypasses the door switch so it leads me to believe that my window switches are fine (maybe need some cleaning, grease).
Is there some other test I should do or is that it? Would this be the window motor assembly? I don't have a garage readily available or tons of time so when I manage to schedule a door tear down I want to have crap all lined up and ready to go.
Thanks!
