Help telling if GS430 has been hit
#16
So did you pick her up?! I never realized how dam good those colored GS's can look until I skimmed through the photo albums on here and came across someone's same color but dragging the floor and looking proper, it actually looked AMAZING! Something I was not used to seeing at all dam! If I can find it, I'll post it, hoping the owner doesn't mind. But hey it's just for compliments right?

Assuming you already checked the CarFax and VinGuard, ask your car insurance agent to let you see a copy of the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Evaluation (aka: CLUE report). If that all checks out clean and you still have suspicions, it's possible the previous owner might have paid out of pocket for any damage repair. Using forensic techniques, take the advise of these CL's and look around the engine compartment and quarter panels for mis-matched paint, and major parts with incorrect VIN numbers. Lastly, take a sheet of paper and a magnet, place the magnet over the paper and slide it over and around the exterior body. When the magnet falls out, thats the area that got repaired, putty'd and repainted.
Good luck.
PS - if CarFax reported "no accidents" and you find discover different, their warranty will pay your car loan if you bring claim within the first year only.
