Default New Problems

It's been a while since I have posted here. My 98 GS 400 is just shy of 200,000 miles at this point and I have a few problems developing.

1) Tire wear. I have been getting pretty nasty inner tire wear. My car isn't very low, it is only dropped an inch on an Eibach/Bilsten SP combo. I need to check out my alignment sheet, but I don't think my car was out of line. I have replaced most of the front suspension (Lower Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Sway Bar Links, Upper Control Arms, Caster Arms). I also have Adjustable Rear Toe Control Arms. I have heard that the Inner Tie Rods could cause this kind of wear, any other suggestions?

2) Squishy Brakes and Brake Peddle all the way to the floor. My Brakes seem to be going out. It is really bad when I am on the high way and I haven't touched used the brake in a while. I ill sometimes have to pump the brake all the way down and then bring it back up and then pump again before my brakes apply pressure. I am hoping that there is just air, or liquid in my Brake Line, but I know that this could also be the Master Brake Cylinder.

3) Shaky steering wheel around 80+ MPH and when initially braking at high speeds. I get a constant steering wheel shake above 80 MPH. When I begin to brake from highway speeds my steering wheel trembles quite a bit. I am guessing one of my Rotors is warped but I am up to other suggestions.

Thank in advance for any advice on these issues!

#3 - your tire is either unbalanced or your entire wheel was bolted on unevenly. Vibration when braking is definitely a warped rotor.

#2 - MBC or possibly worn brake lines

#1 - 2nd opinion from another alignment shop?!

Sounds like you need a bunch of replacement parts. +1 with Rogz, but also check your ball joints and control arms
