Window Issues
I just moved to a new area where it snows and I am scared to death because my rear passenger side window, the motor doesent seem to be working, or its off its rail, im not sure.
When you try to move the window up or down it will only move an inch or two, after physically moving the window with my hand very lightly I got the window to roll up, the window kept dropping down an inch though.
After doing research I read that if you held up on the window switch that it will stay up, I held it up for about 15 secs and the window is appearing to stay up, it is.
I am very concerned that the window is going to drop again though, and the window is def still does not roll up or down correctly, i cant even roll it down all the way.
Does anyone have any insight what is going on, or how much it would cost to get this fixed? Im too afraid to keep my car outside during the winter because of this, and, well, id like my window to be working properly

It's probably off track. You can take the door panel off very easily to take a look. I had to replace my driver side door panel once and it took me about 30 min.

I used to live in a cold weather climate as well and this happened to me (not with my GS but with an older car). The window fits in a rail and the epoxy lost it's grip. I glued it back in and all was well. If you take the door panel off you can see it enough to at least get it aligned again then roll it up so it doesn't drop down.
