Broken throttle body level sensor housing?
Greetings,
Over the weekend my 1999 GS400 suddenly stops accelerating after coming to a stop in my neighborhood. It felt as if the accelerator pedal was doing nothing, like a broken cable. After limping home, I noticed that the barrel end of the cable had come loose as a piece of the black plastic housing had broken off and the cable came off the throttle body sensor assembly.
Do I have to bite the bullet and buy a new throttle body level sensor, part # 22060-50011 or is this plastic "wheel" where the cable attaches available separately?
Thanks
