Bosch ir/ platinum fusion plugs
Please forgive me, if I didn't do proper research. I looked but didn't find a specific topic on my question. I saw a set of iridium/ platinum +4 plugs. I know that the recommendation for the 2JZ-GE is a 2 electrode plug and these are 4 and also I know that they recommend platinum sand these have an iridium component. Has anyone actually used these plugs? Or the Bosch +4 platinums? I'm kind of leaning towards getting thee and hoping they'll help my MPG numbers. But I don't want to use them if they'll have any inverse effects.
Thanks for any input you guys can offer.

Stick with OEM Denso. Other brands wont improve your MPG. If anything else there give better MPG, Lexus/Toyota would have use it already ( they spend MILLIONS trying to improve their cars efficiencies.)
If you really want to improve your MPG, make sure your tires are properly inflated. remove unneccessary weight from your car (such as your stuffs in the trunk). Most importantly, learn how to drive smoothly; easy on the accel and keep enough distance so you dont constantly braking (dont drive like a jack rabbit

There's a reason toyota techs call them 'botched' plugs... they don't tend to work well on these cars. The parts place will sell it, but a quick google will show you countless issues with Bosch on any toyota engine vs. Denso/NGK
Just get any 'good' NGK iridium plug at the parts store or RockAuto [$7.10 per plug, or a denso 7.45$]
This; for any ToyoLex vehicles only.

I've owned the car a year and a half or so, and during that time put some mile on it. And then I had it parked for 10 months, so I'm not sure what the condition of the plugs are yet, but it couldn't hurt to change them I don't think. I know I need a new serpentine belt and probably timing belt. The car has over 310km on it so that's a lil over 195 miles... Needs a bunch of stuff replaced as the winters here n sitting can cause things to rust n seize up.
