Hi all I've tried searching for this but I tried to install a set of Hids to my fogs but they won't power up its just the plug and play type of kit. Question is do I need to get a power wire and relay for the ballast to make it work or is there another way to make this plug and play work without that harness? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Should work without a relay harness. Make sure the polarity is correct when you plug it in.

Yup, it's plug and play. Usually its a polarity issue if they don't work. Just switch the plug around. It could also be a bad ballast or bulb.

If they dont turn on dissconect the plug and flip




Example----


Wire from hid red------------wire from car white
Wire from hid black------------wire from car blue

Flip to


Wire from hid red---------------wire from car blue
Wire from hid black-------------wire from car blue

Also try ur fog set up on ur head lights same plug

I wouldn't suggest just "flipping" the connector. You want to physically remove the terminals form the connector housing, and alter their position. This way ensures that the connector gets properly locked into place when you connect to your OEM wiring.
