2003 gs300 problem....
hello everyone....im new here so if there is a post on this already i apologize in advance....
i recently purchased a 2003 lexus gs 300 with 140,000+ miles on it....been wanting one for a long time so very please with everything so far except one thing......im getting a whinning noise that just started about a week in a half ago.....when i turn or move the wheel it stops, but while just sitting and not turning or driving, its making the low humming/whinning noise. i assume it has something to do with the power steering since it stops when i move the wheel. there are no visible leaks and there is plenty of fluid. any help before i go to my mechanic would be greatly app.

wow...dont everyone respond at once!! geez lol. my mechanic and i solved the problem. the bolt was actually loose so it was tighened. will monitor to make sure nothing else comes of this. just an f.y.i so if anyone else has this issue.
