Default Vibration coming from under the car.. help!

So yesterday while i was driving i noticed a semi loud vibration noise from underneth the car. At first, i had assumed it was the exhaust, either a broken hanger or something along those lines since how low my car was. After inspecting it last night, i determined that the exhaust was not the factor. I started searching and looking up things such as mounts. From what i gathered, it seems like the problem could be from that transmission mount.

Their are a few things that i wanted to see if some of you could answer before i take on the mount.

-Alot of threads i found regarding the tranny mount have had many different symptoms.

What im experiencing is a loud "clunking noise" which seems to match the motion of the motor. When pressure is applied to the inside of the car (ex. people sitting in it) The clunking is more noticable, which is why i think its the transmission vibrating against the car.

It makes the noise in all throttle positions, (ex Drive,Park, ect.) but it's not a consistant vibration.

Recap: Does the symptoms seem to be similar or common to a bad transmission mount?

These are the thread im basing my possible tranny mount issue from

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ne-mounts.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...cv-filter.html

but if you read them. they say their symptoms are from a "faint" sound to "shakes violently"

Yeah, i ordered the tranny mount, so should be in soon. I havent looked under my car since yesterday. Hopefully replacing this will resolve the "clunking" issue.

Anyone else care to chime in?

So i took on the tranny mount swap job this evening. It was VERY straight forward. i just wish i had a lift to work on, but i still got the job done with a jack and 2 jackstands.

The old mount didn't show any visable signs of wear but i decided to replace it since i already planned too. Replaced and torqued everything back and drove it around. Noise was gone. Im satisfied lol.

Here's a picture of the new mount (left) old mount (right)
like i mentioned it didn't look worn out at all, but after i replaced it, it seems to have made a difference.
