1999 GS300 aftermarket super bright HID DISLIKE
I bought my gs300 2 weeks ago previous owner installed HID headlight system which are super bright no exaggeration easy covers 45-55 yards(half football field). A bit ago encounter a cop face to face after I turned so did he and followed me about about a mile till I parked, from doing my research before purchasing my lexus I remember reading that 1999-2000 gs300 come with factory HID headlights I'm considering changing to those.
Where can I purchase original HID headlights?(links/websites please) Do I need to buy a kit?
can I remove aftermarket back into factory ones?
Hows the process?
any help appreciated, Thanks God Bless

Here's what you do:
Go on www.SewellParts.com
Make an account with them.
Register your CL account.
That gives you major discounts.
They got all OEM parts.
I believe this is what your looking for below:
http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S430-2001.html
Check that out. Think about what you really need. Also, do not be discouraged by those prices on that link. Once you make an account with them and reference your CL account, the prices will drastically drop.
Good luck. If you need any help with removing headlights, bulbs, OEM HID, etc. just ask. I've familiar with it.

are you asking which ones you might have? Their should be a tag on the HID wires, or even look on the bulb. You can also google HIDs and find a chart that has a output of the different ones
IMO factory HIDs are the way to go.
And to answer this question, yes you can. If there aftermarket 9006 HIDs, It's as simple and installing standard 9006 bulbs.

Just FYI, even if you do get OEM HID it will blind people, plus it wont fit since its DR2? Your best bet is to, either buy HID headlights OR buy HID bowls from someone who has just done a retrofit.
I sold my bowls for $45 shipped I believe.
