High pitch squealing after car sits in rain?
What up cl I have an 01 430 and was wondering what this high pitch squealing fan belt noise is coming from the engine area after my car was sitting in the rain last night I started it up heard that noise. Turned it off and bak on then after about 5-10 seconds it went away. What can this be? Is it normal? Or do I need to change one of my belts?

It's a belt. A wet belt, specifically.
No, have you heard any new cars make that noise lately?
Yes. Serpentine belt.

Problem is usually
1). worn out belt
2). work out belt tensionor.
A). replace the belt and see if the noise is gone (should be). Check your tensioner and see its within spec.. add some water while the car is running on the belt and see if it starts to squeal.. if it does then that usually means your tensioner is on its way out as well. Replace.
