Got a IS250. Should I keep or sell the GS300?

Got a IS250. Should I keep or sell the GS300?
Just some thoughts and reflection. I have a 2000 GS300 w/ 115K on the clock. I just picked up a fully loaded 2007 IS250 as a daily which I've been wanting since they first came out. So in the past 2 weeks I've been removing some mods off the GS300, but yesterday I decided to drive it to work. I've come to realize that I enjoy driving the GS more than the IS. Ride is smoother, a little more power, and more room. Don't get me wrong, the IS is fun to drive and the technology and gadgets in the car is amazing, but I'm having second thoughts on selling the GS.....
In my area, I think my GS is worth maybe 7-8K. Plus last summer I spent 3K getting the A/C replaced and timing belt / water pump replaced. Am I crazy for wanting to keep the GS? Maybe as a nice "beater?"
I even considered keeping it and giving to my son when he is old enough to drive....but he is only 9 right now......
Thoughts? I'm torn....

What mods did you take off the GS?
If I were you, i would keep the GS and like you said keep it for your son. I have an 8year old and he has already claim the GS as his. LoL. I asked him if he wanted my supra and he was like "no dad, i want the lexus" LoL.

For me I like the smaller sportier ride. I bought my GS because no matter what Lexus I got it had to be black on black. I have seen the newer IS250s and do not know how they drive. I dont like the older styles. The GS is much more KABOOM when it comes to the eyes. I love the 430 power and love the looks I get in it because of its originality. The IS250 is starting to look to ricey an Hondaish for me.

Not sure about "ricey" on the IS, but man there are just scads of them running around the streets here. It's like 'welcome to suburbia, there's your tract home and here's the keys to your IS.'
Keep the GS, these are better made, and with better interior materials than newer Lexus, and they are just going to look better and better with age.
