gs300's with exhausts! chime in!
what are the setups u all are running? im looking to change my oem exhaust mainly for the sound (a little gain wouldnt be bad either)
two popular brands i know of are 5zigens fireball and borla!
main things im looking for are:
- not too loud at idle, but once u step on it roars
- minimal cabin drone
keep in mind i have a gs300.

tanabe medalion was my favorite catback. only reason i sold it was because of my long drives the sound eventually got to me. imagine driving for 2 hrs straight at like 3am with a hmmmmmm sound the whole way. for street driving it was perfect but on the highway it bothered me.

I'm running Top Speed and love it and so does everyone else. I do plan on buying some 5Zigen Mega though in the future. Those or some JP if I can get my hands on them.

Tanabe Medallion Touring is (in my opinion and the opinion of basically every gs3 owner ever) the best sounding exhaust for the 2GS if you don't want to spend $2k+ on the high end stuff.

I'm running the tanabe super medallion cat back. I ran it before and after I did a header swap.
Stock headers/y-pipe, wasn't bad. It was nice and mild, not really loud at WOT.
After Headers, still hums at idle, but it's louder. At WOT, it's loud, but doesn't sound like a honda.
It's a nice deep exhaust and it's definitely one of the top exhaust's I've heard on the GS3
