if you don't mind, what did that cost you roughly... thinking about doing mines too.... for the most parts lol (hone, deck, p&p.. was quoted close to $2k from locals for just those 3)

Yay another one! Hey, you still planning on making this a turbo? Where do you plan on putting the turbo? I'm stuck with mine, there just isn't a good place! I want to do twins, and I think I may be able to put them behind the headlights.

My project is coming along at a snail's pace. I only plan to put one 76mm turbo on the car, so I had planned to put it on the passenger's side where the intake box is now. I'm concerned with how far forward you had to mount your engine because of the 4L60E, when I have a 4L80E which is a much larger transmission. I wanted to push the engine and trans back as far as possible to give myself room for the turbo in front of the engine, but the trans may be an issue.

Unless you make a different K member, the engine can't go any lower than mine. Mike has his (manual swap) about 3" further back, but the giant trans pan and servo on the side already had to be sledgehammered into the tunnel in mine where it is, I couldn't justify putting it further back, I'd have had to make a new tunnel. By putting it forward, I was able to use a complete stock oil pan, and stock edelbrock shorty headers. They were in front of the steering shaft, so I just had to make my mid pipes fit, no problem. Not sure about doing a single, since the crossover pipe has to go somewhere, and there just isn't much room. That's why I'm thinking about stuffing the smallest twins possible into the corners. If my car ends up with piping sticking out of fenders and an intercooler for a front bumper and no high beams, well so be it! :P
