Why not more than 20k? And then what? Have them rebuild? How much would that cost?

Well, it depends on the condition, how you drive, how low you are and etc. After 20k, I would replace the shocks to make it perform new again. That's the good thing about BC coils, no rebuilds, just replace new shocks.

I guess the life of a coilover is dependent on what most of the guys are mentioning here; roads, driving habits, potentially weather conditions, but more so the products' aftermarket lifetime warranty, build quality, and customer service. Although it's not a direct statement of how long a coilover will last, here's how the products (not an inclusive list) are backed from the company and what would help me in the decision:

Bilstein PSS
- backed by a lifetime warranty

K-Sport
- All applications with the new design change will carry Ksport’s all new 18-month limited warranty against defects, damage and labor charges. All items stocked and sold before the date of May 1st are still covered under Ksport’s warranty program and are guaranteed for quality and reliability.

Megan
- All Items sold are on an as is basis. Warranties that apply may be limited manufacturer warranties. Megan Racing disclaims all warranties expressed or implied. They also do not authorize any one to assume liability in connection with these items.

Stance
- Enjuku Racing (builder of Stance coilovers http://stancecoilovers.com/shipping-and-returns/) does not cover manufacturer's warranty. All warranty and guarantees are provided by the manufacturer.
- side note, the term is not specified

Tanabe
- 12 month warranty

Tein
- 1-year Manufacturers Defect Warranty

20K miles? Man you guys have little faith in your coilovers

When I pulled Masboy's coilovers off his car, they were still working perfectly. He probably had over 90k miles on them. Mine has a little over 20k miles, and they still perform great. Can't tell a difference between it and a new set!

Can't say the same for some of the people I know though. Leaking shocks after 10k miles, knocking noise after 20k miles, and the list goes on...

Holy thread bump...

Anywho, any adjustment parts needed would be dependent on how low you plan on setting the coilovers.

I have D2 for like 3 years already with not issue at all and I love the ride every day. Also, I use the RCA's Camber front and rear with adjust control upper and lower rear arm. On front the adjusting upper boin join.

RCA's Rear Camber

Megan Racing Ajustable Control Arm. But from IS300 2001 to 2005 Fit perfect. When I buy Megan Racing not made for GS but for IS300 Megan made it and this the best proof that fit perfect and work as well.

Front RCA's Cambers 30mm

D2 Coilovers.
