DIY upper control arm holes
ok guys ive never done a DIY before but I do work on my car a lot so i decided to make this so you dont make the same mistake i did the first time i did this so here we go
oh ya sorry i dont have pics of it before i cut but you get the idea
first off im not resonsible for you damaging your car
this is only to show you how i did my car
you'll need
10mm socket and wrench
2" hole saw for metal
drill
and a jack
heres a pic of the stuff just in case lol
ok so first off i removed all the bolts that hold the fuse box on the passanger side under the hood once you've done that move it out of the way
then remove the one bolt that holds the little metal pack on the driver side
now heres the hard part using the hole right above shock tower the one that was holding the fuse box on the passanger side and the one that was holding the little metal pack on the driver side.use those as a guide as to where ur going to start drilling with the hole saw. I went towards the fender about 1/4 of a inch behind that hole as shown in pic
now just do that to both sides and your done.... no more banging when driving slammed.
this is what it looks like when your all done
driver side
passanger side
it took me about 45min to finish
