Default Spark plugs flooded?

Hi all, Im currently drive a 2001 GS300. Im having a problem with my car. The old spark plugs were changed since 2 of the spark plugs were dead. However, just after a few miles the car the problem arise again i.e. symptom of dead spark plugs. My mechanic said there was no problem apart from the dead spark plugs before I replaced all of them. What caused that to happen?

Hows the car running? Have you had any injector work done on it lately?

I just changed the plugs on my 02 GS3 a few weeks ago and noticed when I pulled them out they were soaked and dripping with oil! It looked like they were completely drenched inside the block. Is this normal or something I should be worried about??

Race: Most likely a leaking gasket and it's causing oil to link in there. Same was with mine when I got my plugs changed not to long ago. Just not as bad as yours seems to be. Replace the leaking gasket and should be all good.

OP: Never had your problem, but i'm sorry that that's happening :/. Doesn't sound like anything good..

SWGrinda, thats something i need to look into. What gasket are you referring to? Is it the rocker cover gasket?

not gaskets, but seals inside where the plugs snap into.

I had the same problem, but it was the valve cover gasket.

Yeah, I've heard of others replacing the valve cover gasket because of oil leaks. Seems to be a common thing with the GS. But what are the plug seals and what's the rocker cover gasket (valve cover gasket)?

You are going to need to change those valve cover spark plug O-Rings.

Hmm, I will need to look at the repair manual again to see what those are.. Do I need to replace them and the valve cover gasket? Or are we talking about the same thing? I know there's a DIY on this but how hard is this to do? The thread leaves out A LOT of information from what I can tell..
