wont work. A few reasons including that the reflector bowls are different for the hid's than for halogen (which these are for) also the whole factory HID setup e.i. ballast and bulb wont mount in these and also the auto leveling is not on the non hid housings. Do a little searching on here, members have found some GREAT restoring DIY with products that you may have not heard of. I know PlastX is apparently the best and I have seen some great results. However if its the chrome that is the problem... then new housings are the way to go and are about $550-$600 for the HID ones. (only OEM are available)

NOn hid housing are different and will mot work in the 2nd gen that comes equipped with them. 2nd gen GS' with Factory HIDs have an auto leveling motor, if you buy a non hid housing this motor cannot be used, thus you would lose functionality of these feature and pop a warning on the dash. Also the non hid housings have the hole underneath where the ballast wire to the bulb is supposed to thread thru is not cut out. If you are looking for oem headlights search ebay or the classifieds on here they pop up occasionally. You can purchase the housing from Lexus without any components and transfer all of your parts over. The lens and assembly msrp is 345.37 but with cl discount through one of the vendor on cl they'll probably run you around $300 each.

yea I saw you typing and I said, "man I gotta hurry up to be the first!" Naw, I actually did a lot of searching while typing and then started thinking to myself, "oh shoot all this time searching for info and all this typing, what if someone beats me to the punch while I'm still searching and make a duplicate post?!" (like you did) so I guess thats 1 Mr. Jokster 0 Spyder ha ha J/K
