Gas tank leaking
Last few days I had been smelling gas fumes around my car but I could never see anything leaking. Well that all changed this afternoon. There was a huge puddle og gas just under the passnger door. Took it to a local rad shop and they confirmed that the tank was leaking. By the time I got to the shop just ten minutes from my house the the leak had turned into a steady flow. The shop wasn't about to fix it at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon so I had to bring the car back home. Their going to give me an e$timate on Monday.
I jacked the car up and had a closer look. The leak was coming from around the flange which seals the top and bottom portions of the tank together near the corner of the tank. I cleaned up the area and I could clearly see the leak coming out of the top of the flange. I think I am going to see if I can make some repairs....
Anybody else experienced a leaking tank our cars?

Poke around your hardware store and see if you can find a slightly better kludge fix. I'm sure there will be some sealants or epoxies that are at least designed for fuel, although it still maynot be a proper fix.
Otherwise, if you're really want to go lowclass, strap on some duct tape over the bubblegum suggested above. duct tape solves everything right?
I think get the quote from your buddies at the radiator shop, they do seems like the right specialty to fix problems specific to fluid containment.
