Default lug nuts

Because I need new tires on my aftermarket 19" rims, I decided to put the factory 17" rims on till I pony up for new tires. However, i misplaced the factory lug nuts so I ended up using the "tuner" style lug nuts from my 19's. I noticed that the factory wheel lug bores utilized a washer style lug nut. Is it safe with the tuner lugs? It doesn't seem like theres enough surface area on the tuner lug when its in against the factory wheel bore.

It is not safe to use the tuner conical based lug nuts with the stock OEM lug centric flat faced rims.
