Default 1998 GS400 OEM Nav - Can it play DVD/TV?

I'm terrible at the search feature and couldn't find anything that matched my search for TV/DVD OEM NAV. I want to use the current NAV screen (this is on the 1998 GS400, using the Hard-drive based Navigation) to display DVD and/or TV, and possible add headrest monitors in the future. Is there a product that would use the current screen? Would that be the best value proposition, or is it better to replace the entire headunit with an aftermarket nav/dvd/tv unit?

I found this on the web http://www.lextasy.com/lexus__dvdnav...m_960_prd1.htm has anyone tried it on the 2nd Gen GS?

@ kingkong5 u can look into navitool it does what u looking for but I don't know how the picture quality will be and it's $300+ or u can go the route I went and took out the factory navi and replaced it with a kenwood double din touchscreen and subwoofers all u gotta do is find a climates control unit from a non navi gs of the same year and if course the installation stuff

I researched and found this. I'm going to be doing this to my 98 GS4

Keep the stock screen with all the vehicle info, like mileage, mpg, climate controls but still have multi media HU with all the amenities of today, bluetooth, updated nav maps, dvd, MP3, mpeg player, back-up camera.
