Body Shop Work
As some of you may know already, I was struck by a uninsured driver which caused $2,130 worth of damage to the front of my car. I picked up my GS today and was not happy when I noticed that they'd replaced my SilverStar Ultra and Polarg bulbs with stock bulbs. The SilverStar bulbs are only two weeks old and the Polarg's are a little less than a month old. I went back into the shop and explained to the shop guy that bulbs were new and were in good working order before the work was done. As a matter fact, the headlights were not even damaged. The guy said that it was late and most of workers had already left. He said that he'll look to get them for me or have them replaced. I have a feeling that one of the workers pocketed the bulbs. I know they replace damage parts with stock but my bulbs need not be replaced. Any comments appreciated.

Well I went back to the body shop today where I had the work done and they removed the stock bulbs that they'd installed during the repair work and installed a new set of SilverStar Ultra's free of charge. Never got a "real" reason as to why they were removed in the first place. All I cared about was to get my bulbs back.
