Default NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

Okay i have a 1999 GS300 and i was wondering if i can use the NGK Iridium BKR6EIX-11, which is for the 2001 + up GS300? The correct NGK Iridium plugs for my car are the BKR5EIX-11, but is there a big difference as far as plug gap goes? Someone help me out here.

i compared the gap between both plugs and they apparently are the same gap 0.0444.

The plug gaps will be the same between those two part numbers. The 5 and 6 are heat range numbers, with the 5 being somewhat hotter than the 6. The 6's should work just fine in the engine. I imagine you measured .044 inch, not .0444, because if you can feel four ten-thousandths of an inch, or measure it even, you are better than me, and I'm pretty good......

GS3.0, did you ever change your GS plugs to NGK Iridium IX? I ask because I just got 6 of these and am wondering if people have had any luck with these i.e. no issues.
