Any mark ii Aristo owners?
Hi, first post on here, you guys have got some wicked ridesover here. V impressed!
Anyhow got a 99 Aristo V300 Vertex and I'm having problems figuring out how to get a CD to play on the emv screen as it's all Japanese. The slot in the multichanger where the cd is placed is displayed on the screen but I can't get the disc to play. Don't know if the system is broke or if it's just me being stupid and not knowing what button to press. Can anyone help?
Thanks!!!

I never would have thought of this guys! Just tried it and worked fine. Great stuff. Just need to get the rear blind working now!
Just outta interest why is the Aristo so sought after in the US? You have the GS400 and GS430 which is comparable in power output.
Thanks again for the help, think I'll be asking more questions on this forum as i'd originally met a deadend on this one and it was giving me a headache.

^^^ what he said.
the grass is always greener on the other side
seriously though, your car is Twin Turbo, right? That's why. I believe with pulleys and engine management you can boost power significantly.

yeah, the v300 is twin turbo, that car actually has more power than the gs400/430 i thought? anyway, getting more power on that car is for sure easy
the reason for the gs400/430 here instead of v300 (tt i6) is that lexus is a full luxury brand here in the US. toyota, being so conservative, wouldn't take the chance and put a FI car in their luxury brand lineup. the gs400/430 v8 has more status than a FI 6 cylinder. and if you look at competition (bmw and mb), their same class car all have v8, so that's clearly head to head competition

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! I've not got any piccies yet but i'd be a bit embarassed about it as it's totally standard barring a set of SC430 wheels (i know not ideal but a cheap alternative until I can afford some decent rims - you guys can get them hell of a lot cheaper over there!!!).
When I get a chance I'll get some pictures posted.
