Default Help! My gs430 won't start

None of the interior lights come on and the car won't make a sound when I try to start it. I thought the battery must be TOTALLY dead which was suprising since last time I messed with it, it was fine and I haven't left anything on. I've tried 2 different battery chargers and they both indicate that the battery is fully charged... So for some reason power doesn't seem to be getting from the battery to anything else. I've had the speedo cluster and climate and radio pulled out of the car for a long time now, but the car's always had power before and started fine so I don't think having those out has anything to do with it. Perhaps it's a fuse?? I checked the little fuses in both boxes in the engine bay and larger ones with the clear tops - all OK. How can I get the covers off the other ones with the covers? There are a couple marked main (one in particular) that I'd like to check since power doen't seem to be getting to anything - it must be a main one. Can anyone tell me how to get those fuse covers off or have any other idea of what the problem might be? The last thing I did with the car was trying to install an illuminated license plate - I've pulled the trunk liner but hadn't even cut into any wires yet - although I had unplugged the harness to one of the two license plate lights and left it out...don't know if that could have anything to do with it.

Anyway, here's a pic of the covers I don't know how to get off - thanks guys.

if not one electrical thing works I would say it's your battery or a main fuse maybe? did you check to make sure terminals are tight?
good luck.

I can't even jump the car when I hook a jumper box up to the chasis and pos. terminal - so power doesn't seem to be getting through - I think that's the main fuse with the grey cover that says "toyota" in the pic - but I can't get the darn cover off.

The cover that grey/green cover in the picture that says "toyota on it". That's the main fuse. Lexus_kid - thanks for the idea but that doesn't seem to be the problem.
