Default a loose feeling in the steering.

this is a hard thing to explain, but I'll try my best, whenever going over small bumps or rough road surface at very slow pace (like 5mph), the vibration/shock I get thru the steering wheel has this empty feeling in it, as if the steering wheel and mechnisms were hollow. But as soon as I'm up to speed it feels normal again. I was wondering may be the front bushings need to replace?

anybody had same experiences??

i had that problem, and imho that's the problem of the gs coz' i don't have that on my is3 and sc430

anyway, check the steering wheel pretensioner. i had that problem coz' i had the old type (98 and some early 99). changed the whole thing to the new type pretensioner, and tighten it up, and it's all good now

I think I know what you're talking about. sometimes if I hit a bump just right I get a similar feeling.
like something feels unattached or loose almost, but not really, right? almost like something drops out from under you for a second. maybe it is just how they are.
I was gonna have my tech check for this too next oil change since my warranty is out in April

could it be this? https://www.clublexus.com/index.php/...iew/131/1/148/
