Wet floors on passager side front and back
I noticed that I have the carpet on passenger side all wet, especially in the back.
I had the floors vacuumed, I kept the car with the windows open for a day (and no it didn't rain), still can't get rid of the water.
Seems that the water is somewhere in the back next to the “middle bump" and around the air vent underneath the seat – and not next to the door, where it would make sense...
I didn’t drive with windows open while raining, didn’t forget the windows open while car parked – I live in New York…. can’t do that – though sometimes, I drive with sunroof tilt even when it rains.
Any ideas, suggestions…. can’t stand this, it started to have a funny smell….

Cristina,
Welcome to ClubLexus!
Have you been running your AC a lot? You likely have a plugged AC drip tube. I can't find the link I was thinking of, but you know how when you park in the summer you see a wet spot under your car? That tube is from the AC unit and leaks out the moisture from the air conditioning process & humidity removed from your car.
Sometimes they get plugged up and it's backed up and spilling into your car. I've got to run out the door to meet people up on the lake this AM, somebody else will probably chip in and tell you exactly where to find it under your car. You'll need to see if it has some dirt or other crud in it and clean it out.
A second alternative is a bad heater core, but I'm not sure where that is in the GS and it's less likely you'd see that in the summer like you are now.
Oh, and after you fix it post in our auto detailing forum for how to clean the carpets and get the smell out.

Thanks all
I vacuumed the floors again and again, kept the heater on for 3 hours (floors) and made an appointment for Saturday at the dealer…. Unfortunately the warranty expired in May so I don’t know what to expect….
And the funny part…. this is the second Lex that I own, I liked so much my red SC300 that this Feb I bought this GS 300… Never had a problem with the SC….
Thanks anyway all of you FYI
