Do only cars with S+ rev match downshift?

I also found out that when ur in Sport + and in D and u hit the brakes hard to come to a stop, like from 70 to stop, the car downshifts automatically and rev match it for u. I love this car.

Thank you ItzFilyO, that is cool!
Now I understand and am heading out for a drive to see if my car does the same thing
LOL, that was a cool drive and rev-matching works like a charm in all modes using paddles or shifter. Pinned it through a sharp "S" curve causing the traction control light (i think) to blip and a rural property owner to stare at the car.
It's so smooth though I didn't really notice it at first and is much more fun in sport+
I just have to take this car to a closed track and have some fun!!

It's like there is a mysterious foot on the throttle that gives the engine a quick blip of gas to bump the RPMs up at the exact same time the transmission downshifts into the lower gear, thus 'matching' (increasing) the engine speed needed for the lower gear...so there is not the normal (significant) difference in RPMs that can cause a forceful (engine breaking) reduction in speed the moment the downshift happens.
