Default Question about this DVD insert faceplate

Can anyone tell me the official name for this part? Is it replaceable? Thanks in advance.

I think u need to replace the whole unit, unless u can find one off a junkyard.

I believe ItzFilyO is correct; I tried to look around for you on various part sites.. but I don't think it's possible to order JUST the front DVD/CD faceplate for the unit.

I'm sorry friend.. might not be the answer you wanted to hear. Hope you can one in a junkyard - that might be your best chances.

i also highly doubt lexus would sell just that piece, it's always the whole head unit as a whole

Thank you for the replies, guys. That's what I thought too. Oh well, It is just a minor scratch near DVD insert slot. I just thought if its replaceable then I will replace it... Perhaps I can touch it up a little bit with touch up paint... But I'm not sure what color that is... atomic silver?

How bad is it? I would leave it alone if its not bad because using touch up paint sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

When I turn my car off sounds like there's a disk spinning in the dash... Lexus is replacing my radio under warranty.. It isn't hard to hear once you turn off the car they told me the entire unit will be changed.. Free faceplate for you
