Some people refer to the Cabernet as brown, I guess they haven't seen flaxen lol it does look really good as well. I figured red and black was all that was offered in f sport, but I dig it that lexus offers flaxen as well. It looks really cozy.

Edit: does that dash have contrast flaxen stiching??????!!!!!!! In the pic above my post it looks like it does. I'm jelly, that's a nice touch.

Hmm my F-Sport w/Flaxen has white contrast stitching. Maybe it's different on the '15 models?

Flaxen does look good on the F Sport in person, I have only seen a few older models with the Flaxen however in So Cal when I was searching for used machines. Normally paired with a black exterior from my limited searching, and I too never saw Flaxen on a new 2015 F Sport. You still get a lot of black interior pieces as the Flaxen portions are limited to the seats and door panel inserts for a nice two tone effect.

If you want new, it may be that a special order is the only way to get it out here, and they may give you a tougher time haggling a deal vs something on their lot already... but stay tough and dont take no for an answer if thats what you want!

You can check out a non F Sport in person though to see if you really like it in reality before going for a custom order..

If you get one, definitely post pics of this endangered machine!

No Flaxen for F sports?-image.jpg

No doubt they're hard to find. Searched all of Cali for 2 weeks around Christmas for a premium model 15' with flaxen. Every time I found one it sold by the time I contacted the dealer. Finally found this 13' F sport liquid platinum with flaxen and 7k on the OD. I feel your pain but you will love the look. Special order my be the way to go. Good luck

Even a base model is hard to find with this interior. Deslers all say they don't order these because it's not popular. Obviously haven't been on this forum. Wife loves it and glad we didn't settle. Happy hunting.

Had to secure my '14 UW FSport/Flaxen while it was in transit. I like all the interior choices but really prefer the overall contrast of Flaxen. Waited almost 2 mos but it was worth the wait.

I have the flaxen on my luxury and love it, but I actually don't care for it on the F Sport. I think it needs the wood trim to set it off, with the brushed trim I prefer the cabernet.

I feel the same way as most on this thread. I went into my dealer during Christmas seeking a Nebula/Flaxen FSport. The sales guy said it was a rare combo cause that interior is typically found in the Premium or Luxury. Said it goes against the Fsport's "sporty feel". Whatever that means.

But I'm happy with my black interior. Cabernet would've been nice, but the girlfriend's IS has Cab interior and it slowly steered me away towards black instead.

I must say I love the black interior with the brush aluminum. It sucks in the summer time but it's awesome during our Chicago winters.

IS doesn't have cabernet. It has Rioja red which is a brighter, "in your face" red rather than the classy cabernet red.

You will have a rare machine for certain, as Atomic Silver is new for 2015, and with so few flaxen interiors out there its going to likley be one of the only youll ever see!!

It will be downright stunning as well imo (I have seen a couple IS's in this combo).. let us know if you go for a special order please, it will be very interesting to see how that pans out.

Good luck and follow your heart!

Yes the stitching is in flaxen on the dash, door handles and the shift ****. It goes with the black background very well. And at night time its has a more darker hue to it and looks royal. Also at night time the interior LEDs shooting from underneath the door liner accentuate the color nicely. Overall, the energy of the hue is very relaxing, calming, and attractive. I usually roll with all 4 windows down in the summer time rather than breathe the conditioned air all day. And i have gotten compliments on the color combo. The red / brown is dope too. All the interior are top notch on the GS and LS models. Real wood, real everything, enough said Lexus baby!
