Cooling fan runs loud

Just bought a 2013 GS 350 FSport. Noticed the cooling fan runs kinda loud. Has anyone else noticed this? Seems to run a little louder than prior cars. Had the car inspected at a Lexus dealer before purchase. They didn't say anything about it.

Looking at earlier posts it appears this may not be the cooling fan but rather the fuel injectors as it is kinda a ticking sound as described by others and appears to be normal.

The ticking sound you identified is indeed the direct type high-pressure fuel injection system. This noise is common with all.

I don't ever hear any fan noise on my GS but the ticking sound from the direct injection definitely is noticeable on these cars and doesn't sound healthy at all.

I just take the view of the sound of the direct fuel injectors noise a necessity of good performance. Too bad the engine doesn't make the musical 'sewing machine' sound of a high performance engine with solid lifters.
