I believe there is ambient lighting in the center console area from the platform that the mouse and handrest sit on.

Damn, I just went out assuming this was a Luxury package perk - but no - there is light coming out from under there. And it is perfect, just a bit of brightness without drawing attention to itself.

There are lots of detail in the gs that an unscrutinizing eye will probably miss. Did you notice the armrest on the doors are shaped to hold your elbow and forearm? A plain old ledge just won't do for this car.

Right you are! I had not noticed the soft ambient lighting from the sides of the hand-rest before...

Which is all the more fun with the Adaptive Front Lighting.

I think I just noticed the interior lights get brighter when you put the car in park. Cool! My VW CC had all of these interior lights in nearly same places too.

Yes, they are brighter when the car is in Park then dim when you put it into Drive. We all want them brighter in Drive mode!

I agree, they aren't that noticeable at all once they dim.
I've had my car since March 1st and never noticed the light around the remote touch until I read about it on here yesterday.

I did find out about the LED underneath the rearview mirror on my own earlier this week though.
I think that it was a waste to even have that one mounted since the light is too dim.
This morning in the dark I had my car parked and there was almost no difference in lighting if I covered up the LED or if I left it uncovered. They should have made it brighter if it was going to be mounted or just save the money and not mount it at all.

I will say that in my new car I notice the light more than when I had my black interior the lighter the interior the better it shows which makes sense.

I can't make them stay bright even with the carista app. The only option is to have it completely off or just stock like that.

Maby someone here with a little electrical know how can rewire the interior accent lighting to remain at full brightness and have that conection wired to the ignition of the car thus completely bypassing the dimmer controller. Maby you can add a relay or something. This woulf be the ultimate WOW mod.

Any Takers? Who wants to be the first guinea pig?
