Default Dynamic Handling System (DHS)

Purchased my 2013 GS350 F-Sport second hand.

Any idea how I might find out if it has the DHS option?

I've looked through the owners manual and done a search both here at CL and overall via google, can't seem to find any indicator.

I suppose I could ask my wife to slowly drive the car through a turn and watch the rear wheels, although I don't know that I'll detect a 2 degree change.

Congrats! Your best bet is to try and obtain a duplicate window sticker from a local Lexus dealership.

Get underneath and look for the hydraulic cylinder attached to the rear subframe, which moves the rear wheels.

Google search
Lexus GS 350 DHS Rear suspension PIC
look at the pics and you will see the circular aluminum actuator with control linkage
to the rear left and right assembly.

Thanks for all the advice, guess I searched too specifically for rear steering, using lexusbiker's suggestion I found this string.

It's on mine and I love it, shaving off 4" in the parking lot turning radius really shrinks the car and makes parking easier. High speed cornering is the other area it shines in, though thanks to nonstop traffic here, I rarely get to enjoy it. Some late nights.

I see you're in TX. You must be in Houston if traffic is that bad.

Looks like I don't have it. Guess I won't miss something I never had in the first place!

I'm further north but traffic is really erratic and unpredictable here. There are a few corkscrew off ramps I want to sling it around and maybe twice a year they're clear enough for me to push it. Tons of people moving to this state and our highways can't ever keep up.

Heh, when I was looking through CPO models, this was one feature I really wanted and couldn't find. Just for a tighter turning radius. This and the HUD seem to be very hard to get. I suspect they can't be retrofitted either.

Due to the nature and complexity of these options (DRS and HUD) I believe they're factory only.
