Homelink for anything other than garage door?
Nice to have all those buttons on the mirror but using only one for the garage door seems to be it. Anybody have a light switch in the house programmed. I see the switch from homelink is $58!

Not on a 4GS, but assume it would be the same... I used the learning feature in my LS' homelink to turn on/off the lighting in my garage just as you suggest. Doesn't have to be homelink, can be any RF-ready switch or device but you'll need a remote capable of generating the signal for the Homelink to learn
