So my drivers door window switch etc panel, the actual buttons not the black trim around them buzzes and rattles like you wouldnt believe. going to the dealer for this is NOT an option dont ask, to far away, time constraints etc. Lived with it for 1000 miles already cant take it any more.


Please tell me how to remove the cover so I can put a piece of soft foam in there to stop it

Take a piece of plastic and pry the cover off (the wood panel). The whole thing will come off. You can then seperate the contol unit from the wood piece.

are there any of those snap taps that need depressed or does it litearly pop off vertically?

Mine rattles too. I noticed the lower frequencies at higher volumes cause the rattle since the panel itself moves quite a bit, loosening the fitment of the control switch. I was going to address this issue by installing a subwoofer dedicated for lows that way I can turn down the "bass" from the sound settings. I technically would take it back to the dealer but for me, the issue would be reoccurring without a dedicated low. Hope you're able to fix your rattle without the dealer.

I believe the wood pops off. I just pry them. The controls have edge clamp or some kind of clamp...you will see once you pop off the wood.
