Default front license plates and sensros/ipod usb question.

Hey gents.

Is any1 running a rectangular license plate up front as opposed to a squarish one? if so does it affect the sensors?

I got a squarish license plate and I think it looks fugly and takes away from the amazing gs face.

Would like to know if a rectangular one drives the sensors crazy.

Thx!

Edit: random ipod question XD.
Is it safe to leave your ipod plugged to the usb 24/7 or does it drain battery when the car is off??

I leave my iPod plugged in at all times plus I have GPS remote start which is always active and my battery has never died. I've also not gone more than 3 days without driving it though so YMMV.

I put a European plate on my buds car with no problems. Looks better then the US spec one.

As long as you don't cover the round sensors, you'll be fine.

Yup that's it.

My current plate is squarish and "eats" a part of the bottom grill. A rectangular one would fit seemlessly on the bumper, giving the front a more refined look

glad to hear it doesnt trigger the sensors, seeing as to how close it is to them.

How are you getting around the fact that NY/US plates aren't the shape of UK plates?
