Default 2014 GS350 F Sport Vibrations

Hi All,
I just picked up my new 2014 GS350 F Sport, I noticed driving home that at higher speeds of 40+ my steering wheel was vibrating and the car seem to vibrate as well. I just got out of a 2013 GS 350 AWD and i never had any issues like this. I doubt this is normal and wanted to post it here if anyone had the same problems. Already called the dealership to have them check it out tomorrow.

The vibrations are not overly bad, but enough to make me reconsider buying it. The 2013 GS I had was a very smooth ride.

Thanks

You likely have a bad tire (out of round) from factory that is not balancing well. Have them road force balance the front two rims/tires on the hunter road force machine to make sure that the rims are fine and the tires and round. It can happen on a new car. Have them check the rear wheels/tires since you also feel it in the car also. I had a bad tire on this car before and on a BMW that had to replaced when they were new so its not uncommon.

Yep, based on what you wrote, this is most likely a tire or tire balance issue, is less likely to be a wheel issue, and is most definitely not a car issue.

Hopefully it is the tire. The weird thing about it, whatever it is, i am getting a headache. Even though the vibrations are not so severe. Heading to the dealership within the hour. Thanks again !!

rub your hand across the top of the tire and the inner sidewall , you may have lumps in your tires or its a balance issue.. You for sure shouldn't have centerings or spacers due to the oem wheel is hub centric.

You guys were right. They did a Road Force and it seems that 2 of my tires had a rating of 9 and 10. Which is far from the 25 min. The car now rides smooth as it should be.

I added 2 F Sport to the family in one month.
Prior to those 2 cars I had 2013 GS 350 Fire Agate and a 2011 RX 450h.

I was able to get out of my GS lease about 18 month early with the same payments.
And the RX out 9 months early.

Thank again everyone for your help !!!
Happy Holidays
