2014 F-Sport - Black or Grey?
Hey Guys,
So I am days away from picking up a 2014 GS F-Sport with Cabernet interior. The deal is done and the contract will be ready to sign Friday. The only problem is, I had originally decided on a Nebula Grey, but after seeing a Black one when I was at the dealer, my decision did not seem so concrete.
What color would you guys say is the better? Does anyone have any advice? Or anything very important I should take into account that I may not have thought about yet?
Anything at all will be appreciated, I just need help deciding because I am very torn lol

That's one of my issues. This other guy at school picked up a NG with Cab interior a month ago. Its a pretty small school too so I would be "copying" him essentially even though it was a color I wanted to get beforehand.

Ehh, haters gon' hate lol. It's all the more reason to drop it and add some wheels.

screw him and get whatever color you want. Your not in a competition with him. On that note, the black is very hard to keep clean and is swirls city...

I'd go Nebula. This is the first black car I've owned and I had bird poop etch the clearcoat overnight. It is very hard to keep clean but looks awesome after I hand wash it. I originally wanted Nebula Grey but both of my local dealers had just sold them.

I think I am leaning toward the Nebula especially because everyone is stressing how difficult black is to maintain especially with the swirls. Sounds like i probably cant take black to any carwash. It would be nice to run a car through a car wash for once since i havent been able to do so for the past 4 years on account of all my recent cars have been slammed so low that no car wash would accept them lol.
The dealer also has the nebula gray reserved for me hidden away in the back of their lot. Only has 2 miles on it and its safely tucked away waiting for me. Cant wait until Friday. Hopefully i can go pick it up then. Thanks for all the replies guys!

IMO you should buy the color that you like. You've seen both and your heart tells you black. The choice is obvious! Lol. I'd get black and invest couple hundreds into OC 2 coating. Look into no rinse wash and wax too. It really cut down the time and effort. IMO you shouldnt send your car through grinder whether or not it's black. Congrats, enjoy and post a pic when you pick yours.

I have the grey F Sport but my first choice was white or black. Great deal on the grey as it was on the lot. However, I notice a lot of people checking my car out during the evening hours. The Nebula Grey is a better looking color at night. Also, people think the stock rims were matched to the cars paint.
You really can't go wrong. Black is so deep on the Lexus, the rear tail lights will pop more.
See if the can park them side by side for you outside. That might help you better decide. Best of luck!
