This right here. Paint will never be resilient enough to resist rocks and most people in major metro areas will get blasted at some point thanks to nonstop construction. However, a few hundred bucks worth of thin plastic sheeting fixes it. Bonus is, if you go to sell the car, you can pull the protection and be amazed at how perfect the bumper and hood on a 5 year old car looks.
If I wasn't leasing I would have gotten protection day one. I'm so proud of my GS that I'm regretting that decision...even if it is a lease.

Whoa, thought this was just me, the starfire pearl paint on my rx damages so easily. I had slightly nudged a shopping cart when i parked one time and it had left a scrape with the black plastic of the bumper showing through. Couldnt imagine the paint being this soft?
