2015 Luxury Package?
The 2015 GS configurator is up on lexus.com, I noticed there is no luxury package. I changed the Zip to 90210 because I've found sometimes in my region packages are missing, but still no luxury package.
I know the luxury package was deleted from the GS450h, have they done the same with the 350? Thats a real shame if its true, I wouldn't buy the car without the luxury package.

I can select interiors with the linear espresso wood, but that doesn't automatically add the luxury package like it used to, and theres no option for it in the packages. In the gallery there are pictures of the linear espresso and the wood/leather steering wheel, but all pictures of the center armrest with the radio controls are gone. Interiors with the luxury package show "GS 350 shown in Flaxen leather trim." no mention of "with the available luxury package". These interior images are just carryover images from 2013.
If this is true, I won't be replacing my GS with a new one. I'll have to either keep it, move up to the LS, or move on from Lexus.

I submitted an inquiry, I'll post the results.
The "Packages" section of the GS site (I hate lexus.com) still references the luxury package and specifies "GS350 only"...perhaps its only special order now? That too would suck because you wouldn't be able to swing a deal on one on the lot, it would wind up costing huge money to get it.

Keep it or time to move on to something else.
Maybe a A6...

I'd be inclined to take a serious look at a Hyundai Genesis. I love the A6 but the leases are so bad.
I was kind of thinking about seeing what they could do for me on a leftover 2014 or a 2015 on a 24 or 27 month lease. Mine is getting to where its going to need tires and perhaps brakes, and instead of dropping $1,500 on it, my payments are so high compared with what they could do on a new one I figured despite being upside down at this point they might be able to make it work. Even if my payment was the same, I'd have a new one and be out of pocket the same amount every month and save the $1,500. I wouldn't be in a trade position when the 2016 refresh comes out, which would be a snag. Wouldn't be able to swing an incredible deal on a refreshed 2016 like I can now on a 2014, so best case maybe my payment would be $650. Over the 12 additional months I'd have the 2014 or 2015 past when I would have had the 2013 that $50 a month is only $600...putting me $900 ahead of putting tires and brakes on mine, and I'd have a new one. Since mine is 31k miles and 24 months in and tires and brakes are currently okay for a while, I should be able to return a 24 or 27 month lease on the original tires and brakes.
BUT, no luxury package would mean I wouldn't even consider that. I wouldn't roll a bunch of negative equity into a Genesis, if I did put up with the Hyundai stigma it would require a savings.
We do have members here with 2014 luxury packages though, so I know that at least they exist.

I will only have maybe 17K miles at lease end and did get a good lease deal so I may just bite the bullet and buy the GS.
I still will look at a few cars I have interest in and the Genesis will be one.
Although at this point,I'm not too crazy about the exterior design.

Yeah I didn't love the Genesis until I drove it. It really does drive GREAT.
Looking around at dealer inventory. Inventory for the GS is MUCH lower than it was in 2012. Dealers had like 20 on average then, now its like 5-8. I found one or two rogue 2014 luxury packages, but all the 2015s are premiums or F Sports...

The '16 will be a midcycle refresh model.
Will be interesting to see what that will look like but with no luxury pkg,I'll probably pass as I have no interest in an F-Sport and just a premium.

And you never know, with the mid-cycle refresh they may bring it back.
Guess I better start shopping for tires

I still see the Luxury Package in the Packages portion of the model overview. Didn't try to build it.
It looks like it includes everything for 2015 that was in the 2014 Lux package.
