Gas Mileage
So, just curious if my gas mileage is on par with everyone else?
I filled up the car, reset the average MPG to zero, drove a few secondary roads to reach the interstate. Once on the interstate I placed the car in cruise control at approximately 67 MPH for a 184 mile trip in 61 degree clear and sunny weather. I was also in ECO mode. I will ncluded a picture of all the relevant information once I'm able. I received 28.1MPG!?!?
Let me know if this is above, below, or average mileage that you are seeing.
Thanks so much!

Hi, I am from Singapore and have the GS250 for 2 months (I know the guys in the US will laugh at me) )my mileage is around 10.7 to 10.9 KM/L. Mostly city driving though.
I guess your is a 350?

That seems a little low. I just made a 300 mile trip, without cruise control, going between 80-85 mph and got 28.something miles per gallon.

Actually you are doing well. 10.7 km/l converts to 25.14MPG.. not bad for city driving in Singapore!

I drive all the time on long trips in my GS 350 F-Sport. I have never gotten better than 24.2 MPG on an extended trip (averaging between 78-82 mph) on 270-306 mile trips.
I think the 28mpg listed on the sticker is in ideal perfect (aka down hill both ways) conditions.

I have AWD and I'm getting 21-22 in the city and burbs, with 27-28 on the highway. I have mostly been driving in ECO mode.
I utilize cruise control more than most normal people. I coast down hills and use my manual gears to slow down by downshifting.
There are ways to maximize mpg by the way we drive. Not gunning it will definitely improve mileage. If you drive in hilly areas, coast a little, it can't hurt, can it?

I think city varies GREATLY depending on the city. My city driving mileage is horrible because I have to stop every 1/4 mile it seems. My city planned stop signs and signal lights pretty stupidly. I think under my best conditions I got 19 mpg with 100% city driving, worst mileage was a little over 15 mpg.
I've gotten as high as 34.4 mpg on the highway cruising at 65 mph. I still have the picture on my phone, I was so satisfied I had to take a picture to share

I never take long highway trips, but the 25-mile stretch of highway I do take once a week yields 23-24mpg. City brings it down to 18-19mpg. I am averaging around 21mpg between the two, since I last filled up. That is with just over 3,000 miles on the car.
