Are there any hidden features on our cars?
I just finished reading a thread in the GS300/400 forum that discussed the hidden features of the 2nd gen GS. I was wondering, are there any hidden features on our cars? I bet most of us don't know if/what they are.
Here's #1: that little flap above the rearview mirror is used to block sunlight.
Here's #2: you can put an A/C filter in the car (most of our cars don't have one installed from the factory).
Here is the link to the post I was refering to: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=89632

Hehehe. I figured the little flap yesterday before class started. I was chilling in my car and the sun started rising and I was like, I guess that's what the flap is for. It did help as my sun shield does not cover that little area.

If you put the key in the driver's lock and turn it twice to the left (or right maybe), does it unlock all the passenger doors?

The photo cell on the dash to determine when your headlights come on is adjustable..... the lexus manual says that you can rotate the ring and this will change the sensitivity accordingly.

COOL TIP. I am trying this. That air filter mod is cool, too.
Southernsun: did you use "mines" as a joke? If so I like, if not...shame. My GF is a teacher and she couldn't get this kid in her class to stop saying "mine's." So funny.
Do any of ya'll cruise with the windshield wipers in "ready" mode by turning that dial on the wand? A quick way to give you that sporty "all-weather" look.
