I was handed down a 2002 Lexus GS 300 for my birthday, It runs great and I wanted to get opinions on if I should do stuff with it. It has 200K miles so i'm not to sure if its worth getting nice rims, engine touchups, exhaust system and stuff along those lines, Due to the fact i'm not sure how much life is left! Would really love some feedback!! Thanks

You are sort of posting in the wrong section, considering its a GS Second Generation car, but nonetheless 200k miles is quite high, and honestly you would be looking at a complete engine rebuild (4000-5000 dollars) as the engine neared 300k. My motor let go at 250-260k, and when these motors are that old you start finding a lot of seals and bearings, bushings, etc starting to wear out. You should be a lot less concerned about engine touch ups or wheels, and more thoughtful into maintaining the vehicles integrity if you plan on having it for the future to come.
