Just make sure they don't sandblast or powder inside them at all. If you get sand inside the caliper its bad news. $70 is cheap for the results and longevity but if you will be upgrading soon or whatever then just paint them now and powder your upgraded set I say. In the end its up to you.

I think I'm going to paint these for right now. I like the Supra wheels. I will start looking for those. Are they hard to locate? They look similar to the GS factory rims. Once I secure the Supra wheels, I can do the Supra brake upgrade. Then I will get the Supra calipers powder coated.
Thanks for the enlightenment guys!

Stock brakes suck horribly bad. Both my 1gs had very warped rotors and heat discoloration on the calipers. Obviously under sized. I went with stoptech 14" 4piston all around and I gotta say it stops much better than my sti ever did.

I really like my wheels and I got sizes which will clear supra TT 4 pot front brakes.

Do you have a link to the Stoptech Brake setup for the 1st Gen GS? I would be very interested in taking a look at it!!
