Drag raced at the Lexus event today
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share some of the times that I put up in the 1/8th mile drag race since I haven't posted anything here in ages! It was a fun day and even saw a few 1st gens at the event!
I was always curious regarding the type of numbers I would put up so I ran the car 12 times and I'm just going to post the top 3 in no particular order.
Full audio in trunk/ half tank of gas/ magnaflow exhausts, injen intake, apexi grounding kit, coilovers, strutbar, and 19" non racing wheels.
Reaction time * 1/8 mile * MPH
.528 *11.582 * 61.94
.648 * 11.537 * 62.57
.644 * 11.549 *62.40
According to http://myqtrmile.com/qtrmile.php?make=Lexus, it states the following 1/4th mile time for a stock 1994 Lexus Gs300 is16.800. Converting it to 1/8th mile would be roughly 10.778.
Although I did launch my car to just under 2k rpms, I feel like with all the stuff on the car I only lost a hair under a second compared to a stock gs. Seems like the performance mods cancelled out the weight of the rims and audio.
Special thanks to Dixon for the pics and if I come across any new ones I'll probably post up here also.

HAHA, no thanks, I'm done with the car. I'll take my 3 series to the drag race next time, that's made for speed.
