Overheating problem????
Hello everyone I'm hoping some one can help me. my 93 gs started over heating my first thought was thermostat, changed it but still overheated no coolant leaks at all and i thought maybe the water pump, took everything apart and found out water pump was perfect. changed clutch fan and it still over heats I'm out of possibilities could it be that its the radiator?? i took the thermostat off and I'm driving it like that for now. w/ the thermostat the car will overheat bottom rad hose will be cold while top is super hot. any thought???

Is the overflow boiling? If so it could be the headgasket leaking compresion into you coolant system. The best way to check is to take your radiator cap off, turn the car on fill the radiator to the top and see if it bubbles non-stop as if it needs to be bled.

Look for milkiness in the oil. Does the car smoke while running? Does the exhaust smell sweet? My head gasket just gave up at 173K miles. It turns out to be a pretty common failure with the 2JZ-GE.

This sounds like a clogged radiator to me or waterpump. Take both the top and bottom off and see if you can get any water to circulate. Either that or your water pump gave out.
