Standard diff ratio in Aristo?
Hey Guys,
anyone know what the standard diff ratio is in the 2jzgte aristo? I believe the JZA80 TT Auto and Soarer/sc300 diffs swap straight in?
Cheers
Aaron

It depends if it's the open diff or the LSD. On the chassis tag under the hood, look for the drivetrain line. It will be like two numbers and a letter. A is open diff and 4.08. If it's B you have the LSD and 3.76.

Look on the chassis tag (blue in colour), my says A01B. So I think according to the axle description below; my have a 4.1 final drive ratio and Torsen LSD. My brother have JZX100 Chaser and it say B01B which have a more bigger Crown wheel size.
AXLE Example Description (for supra mark 4)
Crown Wheel Size: A (8'' - 203mm), B (8.7'' - 221mm)
Differential Ratio: 01 (4.083:1), 02 (3.769:1), 03 (3.267:1)
Differential Type: A (Standard open differential), B (Torsen LSD)

Cool, I won't be able to see the build plate til the car arrives - but it's all good, if I don't end up needing the extra LSD, I'll sell it to a Soarer owner
