Given the rc-f was selling a little bit when It first came out, it took a model year to drop the price by 12-14k...

With the GS-F not selling since they brought them out, how long will they go with dealers having them sit on there lots? Until 2017 to discount the 2016's??

I think one point we're missing is this: the market OVERALL has tanked. Not much anywhere is selling very much. There are people right now, who 5 years ago, or even before the crash of 2008, would have scooped these up at this price and NOT BATTED AN EYE. Today is different. Money is very, very tight or non-existent. Credit is tight and many peeps are over-extended. The Middle-class is hurting BADLY. I see it every day I go to work. And it's not getting any better.

IMO, YMMV....

When this thing goes for 72k I will prob pull the trigger.

If this had started at 69,900 The GSF would be flying off the Lots

Instead they sit ...

I hope No one pulls the trigger on one of these anytime soon Really make Lexus realize they priced the car wrong.

I will enjoy my M4 for another year and sit back and watch the Direction Lexus chooses to go price wise.

Only a Matter of time
I also picked up an M4 over the rc-f.
I'll go drive the gs-f for ****s and giggles but don't think I'll get back into another Lexus until they can up the HP to match the competition especially with the price they are charging.

but how much did you pay for the m4 though? apples to apples price comparison you most likely paid 10k+ more for it than rcf. Btw, performance is very similar with professional driver track testing

I paid 74k for my M4 and considering my buddy paid 73k for his RC F I would def say Apples to Apples.. I also got quite a few options.. No Cost Carbon Fiber roof, Executive package, Adaptive suspension, DCT Transmission, Harmon Kardon Stereo. Driver assistance plus including top and side view cameras and 19" wheels.

Not knocking the RC F... But I would say I got more for the money... especially with my under rated 425hp and 406 ft/tq

I do like the GS F and will highly consider making the move on one once the price gets realistic at around 70-74k but 84-88k not gonna happen there are better options for the money.

Mines actually the f83 convertible M4.
Msrp was 88k and I paid 80+Tax.
I drove the rcf before I bought the M.

I have a 725whp 300zx TT and I like the torque that the M4 has. Before that had an RS4 that was NA so I guess I like boost more.

very nice, yeah, convertible M4 is what i'm planning to go next if i don't get the GS-F.
i received a pretty good quote based on $89K MSRP.
terms are 12k miles a year with 36 months.
nothing down, just pay, bank fee and DMV.
monthly is $998

i'll share what we got on my wife's 2016 F82 M4. The MSRP was $73.5K. Options....6MT, Lighting, Executive, extended leather and 19" wheels. She chose the sunroof instead of the CF roof....neither were an extra cost and the HK sound system came with the Executive package in 2016. we were able to order it on 7/3/2015 and ended up getting one of the 1st weeks of 2016 builds. negotiated price was just over $68K, which was right at invoice.

since Georgia's tax situation STINKS for leases, we did a payment saver loan with PenFed. put down $1000 and the payments are $925 for 36 months with a balloon payment/residual of $40K.
